Allergens
Youkies are made by hand using shared equipment, which processes all the 14 major allergens. If you have a severe allergy, please know that while we do our best to prevent cross-contamination, we are not an allergy-free environment.
All 14 major allergens below:
- Cereals containing gluten (e.g., wheat, rye, barley, oats)
- Crustaceans (e.g., prawns, crabs, lobster)
- Eggs
- Fish
- Peanuts
- Soybeans (soya)
- Milk (including lactose)
- Nuts (e.g., almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, cashews, pecans, Brazil nuts, pistachios, macadamia nuts)
- Celery (including celeriac)
- Mustard
- Sesame seeds
- Sulphur dioxide and sulphites (often used as preservatives, especially in dried fruits, wine, and processed foods, at levels above 10mg/kg or 10mg/L)
- Lupin (found in some flour, bread, and pastries)
- Molluscs (e.g., mussels, oysters, squid, snails)
Care for your Youkies
We advise to store Youkies up to 7 days from the date indicated on the box in an air-tight container or frozen (3-4 months max) if not enjoyed immediately.
To experience Youkies true flavour, we recommend to heat it in the oven at 180℃ for 5-8 minutes or in the air fryer at the same temperature and time range.
If frozen, it will take 12-15 minutes in the oven or air fryer until warm and gooey.
Shipments
We ship twice a week, on Monday and Wednesday, with Royal mail next day tracked delivery. As soon as we prepare the shipment you will receive an email with the tracking number where you will be able to follow your Youkies. We currently only ship within the UK, but with big dreams to expand:-)
